Chef Bret Jennings of Elaine's on Franklin in Chapel Hill has agreed to appear with me and Chef Bill Smith, Crook's Corner, at the reading scheduled at the North Carolina Literary Festival on September 13 at 12:20 p.m. The two of them will brings treats for the audience. I can't wait for the event. It'll be as much fun as it was to interview the chefs. I'll give a reading from the book, probably about Bret and Bill, and they will talk about the life of the chef. Then we get to have the goodies. I think it'll be a great, and fun, event.
This week Michael and I are going to have the summer dinner special at Four Square with Chef Shane Ingram. That's four courses for $35. Not bad.
